Hi Steve,
If you're new to ChucK, you might benefit a bit from the ChucK101 course
that just started last week on Coursera (it's *free*!):
http://www.coursera.org/course/chuck101

It starts at the *very* beginning... and it gives you a chance to 'meet' a
few of the developers and pick up coding tips. Good luck with your ChucKing
and welcome to the club :)
