My experience was that the soundcard maxed out at +-4V. That was enough for me; at 1 V/octave that means 8 octaves for notes and enough amplitude to give the VCF a thorough sweep. It simple in ChucK too: the difference between 0.0 and 0.25 is 1 octave, between 0.25 and 0.5 is 1 octave and so on.<div>
<br></div><div>I don't know how to test the voltages without a scope or a meter - nice gear to have around when working with CV anyhow. Maybe you could feed the voltage back into an input and have silent way calibrate it for you (if it can do that), though I've found the inputs on the MOTU to be less reliable than the outputs.</div>
