problems on PPC Linux, so if you're able to build it from sources,
the PPC architecture *probably* won't prevent compilation, but
then I don't know about Mac.<br>

PPC OSX is a lonely planet these days.<br>

in the source releases either. Though it looks like this isn't
clearly stated anywhere in the installer or website. If you
have access to a newer Intel-based Mac available with Mac OS
