I cannot give you the answer you are waiting for, because I'm not a developer, but I would love to run chuck on my 64bit linux machine. I hope your patch will be committed, then I'll try to compile it and will most probably find some bug. Not that I'm eager to discovering bugs, but it happens all the time to me.

Of course it's not a completely working patch so you'll find things don't work. However the VM seems to be able to execute code and time can advance. I'd be interested to hear about crashes, but if only it could produce real-time sound properly I'd be more happy. I was able to generate a time-varying sinusoid in a .wav file using WvOut and it worked okay. Steve
