ChucK linux requirements issue

Dear list (and devs/ admins), The ChucK download page ( http://chuck.cs.princeton.edu/release/ ) doesn't mention that on Linux ChucK requires a 32 bit system (and not 64, right now). I strongly suspect this to be the cause of confusion/segfaulting here; http://electro-music.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=26414 (though I may be wrong) I would recommend putting this "on the packaging" so we can go on to new and innovative ways of seg-faulting and being confused. In case I'm wrong; do we have a Fedora-expert who might be able to help Flies there? Yours, Kas.

When [ctrl]+[n]-ing¹ up a new file under Linux (windows is fine) the cursor isn't placed in the new file's window. In the interest of speedy keyboard-based workflow I'd like it to be. Yours, Kas. ¹ok, that's probably the limit to what can be verbed...

osc to keyboard

hello Ive been working on triggering Osc by the use of the keyboard and im still a having trouble I read the kb.ck file in the hid folder to figure out how it triggered and output the keys so i came up with the below syntax. // setting up the keyboard to trigger Osc // this should trigger a middle c tone when A key is pressed { if (msg.is ButtonDown()) and if (msg.my_keynumber = 65 then SinOsc s => Dac; 261 => s.freq; 1::second => now } it still giving me errors ? even when i running the kb.ck file in chuck any help would be great thanks Gabriel --------------------------------- Be a better pen pal. Mini font resize bug (minor issue)

Dear fellow ChucKists (particularly Spencer), Some time ago I set the font of the Mini (latest version, ALSA, Linux, in this case) to have a huge size so I could easily demo something to a friend of mine. Now, I had to set it back and while the font got smaller immediately the cursor was still at the old (huge) height and so was the space between the lines. Re-starting the Mini fixed this issue. I'm not sure what the current best place to archive such bugs in the Mini is so sending it here. Yours, Kas.

4 channels output

Hi I'd like to address 4 outputs under linux. Currently my soundcard has only 2 channels out.
