granular music recommendations?

Yo All....I'm trying to download and study some of the best music out there which features granular synthesis. I haven't heard much yet beyond Iannis Xenakis, but I'd love to know what your favorites are. Perhaps it would be worthwhile putting up a torrent of the same. If possible, kindly provide links to mp3 files or any other type of free downloads. Scale & diatonic

I have made a program, scale.ck, that admits one to work with scales, including tuning stretch, céleste tremulant, retune them, and then save to a file, with a line of code that can be pasted back into the source, available at next program startup. Scale tunings can be put into tuning banks, and otherwise defined by your favorite method. Details in the file. I have also updated my program for diatonic tuning systems, diatonic.ck. clearing a delay line

I wondered if there is any method to clear the internal buffer of a Delay ugen (since I did find such a function in the STK-kit). cheers, Casper

Obviously what I posted works, but the extra cast isn't necessary. So all that's really needed is: Std.atof(me.arg(2)) => float MAX_TIME; PRC

Wolfgang, args come in as strings, so convert using: Std.atof(me.arg(2)) $ float => float MAX_TIME;

hi, Finally had time to implement an idea i had been looking at of using git versioning to track my actions while live coding in chuck. Using biquad...

Hey guys i'm working on a sampler that uses a simple equation system to determine parameters of reverb, volume and pitch filtering. The goal is to emulate 'depth' using the idea that if a sound's source moves away from our ears, we will perceive it as quieter and more diffused, with its high-pitch content less present. Motivated by this, I started to read about the biquad ugen, but i haven't figured out how to deal with its coefficients so I can make something interesting out of it. My question is, how can i make a high cut filter that gradually reduces the high-pitched content of the sound signal's spectrum, based on an input of 0-100? (0 = no filtering, 100 = no high-pitch content) thanks!

float arguments form command line

Hey again! does anybody knows how to get float arguments from the command line window? I tried: if( me.args() ) //0: filename,1: min_time,2: max_time { me.arg(0) => string filename; me.arg(1) $ float => float MIN_TIME; me.arg(2) $ float => float MAX_TIME; } but I'm getting "line(4): invalid cast to 'float' from 'string'"
