Yo All....I'm trying to download and study some of the best music out there which features granular synthesis. I haven't heard much yet beyond Iannis Xenakis, but I'd love to know what your favorites are. Perhaps it would be worthwhile putting up a torrent of the same. If possible, kindly provide links to mp3 files or any other type of free downloads. Chunity (ChucK for Unity): Release!

Dear all, Hello! I'm happy to announce the initial official release of Chunity (ChucK for Unity)! http://chuck.stanford.edu/chunity/ http://u3d.as/1bvM Chunity is the integration of ChucK in Unity. (For those of you not familiar with the Unity game engine, Chunity gives you the ability to do realtime sound + music generation natively in Unity, tightly coupled to interactions with graphical objects.) You can use most (possibly all?) ChucK features, run new ChucK code on-the-fly at any time, and communicate between Unity and ChucK using "global" (new keyword!) ints, floats, strings, Events, and 1D int and float arrays. (More types to come!) You can even run multiple VMs that share the same strong timing! VSCode ChucK plugin now available

Hi all! I just published an extension for Visual Studio Code which will do syntax highlighting for ChucK. It was a port of an Atom plugin, so I really didn't do that much work. If you use VSCode, you should be able to search marketplace extensions for "chuck" to install it. Forrest

Oscin addAddress query

Hi, I was moving some code away from using OscRecv and OscSend to make use of OscIn/OscOut and OscMsg. I found the versions file (under 1.3.4.0) useful in doing this. The example r.ck within the OSC examples was also useful. I did find something that I was unclear about though within it. What is the purpose of the if within line 15? 9: OscIn oin; 14: // create an address in the receiver 15: oin.addAddress( "/foo/notes, if" ); https://github.com/ccrma/chuck/blob/master/examples/osc/r.ck All the best Scott
