Hi all, I'm trying to use the LiSa looper function in ChucK using a MIDI pad. I've got a handle on using to loop once tapping a midi pad (like using a loop pedal) but I can't figure out how to 'overdub' on the same sample time? I am currently using a lisacontainer in my MID set up. Record to disk inside midiaudicle

It is playing backward from 0, to 0, so it does nothing. You have to set .pos to .samples() (point to the end, so it can play backward). In the example, you’d need to advance time to let it play forward: mySndBuf.samples() :: samp => now; // you’d hear it play forward then set rate to -1, then advance time again to hear it backward. In my experience, in SndBuf, to play the file backwards from the end requires file.samples() - 1 => file.pos; file.rate(-1.); If the size of the file is, for example, 1000 samples, the first sample is located at 0 and the last sample bit is 999 (not 1000). On my machine, at least, if I set the position beyond the end of the file, it won't play backward. Hi, I'm trying to understand what's really happening in chuck. I thought i did untill i saw some exemples of midi. Normaly you can only feed time or duration into now ( e.g. 10::ms => now) But in case you are awaiting a midi-in message you write : MidiIn min; while (true) { min => now } So in fact do you assign the message to time? Where can i find a chuck editor with the possibility to find words and replace them (all) and that also gives the colors for reserved words etc. 2. Is there a way to debug line per line to discover logical errors? 3. i discovered by accident that sometimes i can use "p.puf" but on other occasions i have to write "p.buf()" why is this? 4. in the program hereby, is there a way to have the pan do it's job independantely from the note-envelope-flow? to go faster or slower? 5.
