granular music recommendations?

Yo All....I'm trying to download and study some of the best music out there which features granular synthesis. I haven't heard much yet beyond Iannis Xenakis, but I'd love to know what your favorites are. Perhaps it would be worthwhile putting up a torrent of the same. If possible, kindly provide links to mp3 files or any other type of free downloads. Chunity (ChucK for Unity): Release!

Dear all, Hello! I'm happy to announce the initial official release of Chunity (ChucK for Unity)! http://chuck.stanford.edu/chunity/ http://u3d.as/1bvM Chunity is the integration of ChucK in Unity. (For those of you not familiar with the Unity game engine, Chunity gives you the ability to do realtime sound + music generation natively in Unity, tightly coupled to interactions with graphical objects.) You can use most (possibly all?) ChucK features, run new ChucK code on-the-fly at any time, and communicate between Unity and ChucK using "global" (new keyword!) ints, floats, strings, Events, and 1D int and float arrays. (More types to come!) You can even run multiple VMs that share the same strong timing! Another Fiddle

Good day chuck-users, Today a new release of Fiddle is available. Thanks mucho if you've given this free ChuCK IDE/GUI a spin and especially if you've provided feedback! If you already have the app running on your system, the auto-update feature *should* just kick-in. If you were sitting on the side of the pool, come on in, the water is quite nice. The release includes some of the very-nice effects built-in to the most-excellent LiCK library which is housed here: github.com/heuermh/lick. Fiddle with ChucK

Greetings ChucKsters, I am pleased to share the first public beta release of my hobby project, Fiddle: A Programmable Sound System. It is a Graphical User Interface and IDE for ChucK. It is free, open, and completely extensible. Hopefully it will be of interest to some of you. I have been working on Fiddle for over a year and so the term "hobby-project" may be a bit of an undersell. But it's always better to under-promise, no? Fiddle *is* a hobby project in the sense that it is designed to help *me* dabble in electronic music-making. It's probably missing many features that I've yet to appreciate, but "the day is still young". On the cannerycoders website you'll find online documentation and a download page. You'll also find Windows 10+, Mac-Intel, Mac-M1 and Linux-Debian-x64 builds available. No guarantees are made with respect to older OS versions, your mileage may vary, caveat emptor, etc. I'm uncertain how much interest in Fiddle to expect. It's possible that my non-industrial-strength download site won't be up to the task. Patience is a virtue. trying to implement a midi sequencer in chuck

Hi, I am trying to implement a midi sequencer in chuck and aparrently do not understand how time is advanced. The script below works fine for one track midi files but more than than and, it seems like events get lost. New User (midiscore chucktrip questions)

Hello, Im a retiring soon from IT, used make a living playing keys in a band a long time ago. Now I have time to play again. I am just getting started with chuck and want mostly want to use it as a custom midi sequencer. Probably with fluidsynth but maybe some chuck instruments. I can read and dump a midi file and play it through jack. But Id like to do more. I noticed MidiScoreReader and friends in the source but cant figure out how to exercise it. Things like getBPM and getLowestNote and seek toNoteOn etc seem interesting But I cant find them in the docs. And ..is there a way to format ints as hex when chereing? Also is chucktrip like jacktrip? thanks, d
