Is there any greater truth hidden in the fact that you don't connect b to dac above?

You might need to experiment with different values for .chunks, but that should be able to make the hiccuping go away.

Thanks for the great explanation, it all makes very much sense. However I'm still not able to even notice any difference (I tried with 256, 512, 1024 and 2048) from not using chunks. And I did remember to but the =>.chunks before the load...
