No, the version without the distortion is
 $ chuck-1.2.1.2 --version
 chuck version: 1.2.1.2 (dracula)

    exe target: mac os x : universal binary

The one with it is

 $ chuck --version
 chuck version: 1.2.1.3 (dracula)
    exe target: mac os x : universal binary

I have saved chuck version 1.2.1.2 as chuck-1.2.1.2, so that I can switch between them.
