Yes, this is right.
You can listen for the key but can't get nor set Capslock, Scrolllock or
NumLock leds/ states.
Hid-out has been rumoured as a plan for these and rumble (etc) by Spencer,
for some time in the future...

am i wrong that you can't get the state of the caps-lock button? you can, with Hid, see whether it's gets pressed or released, but you can't tell what state it's in.
