Software development process has three variables - time, resources and functionality. All three can not be constant at the same time. So the lack of release date is a good sign - it shows that the plans are serious and functionality is fixed. Was the time there, resources there (which you can&#39;t add to late project anyway), quality would be variable and this would be really bad for a major release ;)<br>
