Re: [chuck-users] playing SndBuf backward

In my experience, in SndBuf, to play the file backwards from the end requires file.samples() - 1 => file.pos; file.rate(-1.); If the size of the file is, for example, 1000 samples, the first sample is located at 0 and the last sample bit is 999 (not 1000). On my machine, at least, if I set the position beyond the end of the file, it won't play backward. I have another question: Can you recommend a procedure to address individual samples of a wave-file you read into the SndBuf. I discovered a way to play a part of a wave file starting at a certain point using ".pos". I also wonder if there's a way to play it backwards (reverse).
