Hi Wolfgang,

Upgrading to the latest version is definitely the first thing to do. If that hasn't/doesn't help, can you let me know the output of 'chuck --probe' in the Terminal? As you might have guessed, miniAudicle/chuck appears to be having trouble with the audio driver/hardware layer- 'chuck --probe' usually can figure out exactly where the problem is occurring.

It happened suddenly. Not sure to what triggered it... I upgraded the miniaudicle on my computer but the problem persisted.
