You must to copy this file to ~/.kde/share/apps/katepart/syntax/ And the
option appears, I think, on the highlight menu, I do not remember exactly, I
did long ago.

This is a file that I have made for personal use, it's a edited java file for chuck higlights on kate. This is not a great work. I hope that helps.
