Hey Joel, Thanks for reporting in. Qt's build system uses its own custom build tool, qmake, to generate makefiles that refer to whichever version of Qt is available. I'm unsure of how well this works when an application designed for Qt4 is built on a system with Qt5, but I had hoped that there would be a compatibility mode. My guess is this mismatch between Qt versions is the ultimate source of the errors you are seeing.
