Sorry; either I was unclear or you misunderstood me but I suspect that in this case 1.2.1.2 introduced some issues that weren't previously there; especially the issue that you are reporting here doesn't materialise in that form in 1.2.1.1 for me. I hope that clarifies? Yours, kas.
