Sweet! I would try using the same compiler for both, and also ensuring your Faust library, chugin, and ChucK are all using the same architecture (assuming x86_64). 

Maybe Romain has seen this error before?

I found the problem, but not yet the solution.

The symbol is missing from the libfaust.so library, so I will ask for
help on the Faust mailing lists.
