I've just checked the Feature Request list on the Wiki and couldn't find anything related to Fourier analysis... are there plans to include it at some point?

FFT and friends are most assuredly on the list. The feature request page hasn't been organized in a while, I hope to sort it at some point. In fact, we are looking at providing audio analysis framework from within chuck. George Tzanetakis, author of MARSYAS, and us chuck folks have been brainstorming about this very thing.
