These areas might include, but are not limited to: theory, music technology, world music, performance, improvisation, or music for film, theater or dance. One to three pieces of your music, with scores (if appropriate for your work), and one sample of any additional material you feel is relevant (for instance, an essay or academic paper, a course syllabus, documentation of related work such as performance/improvisation, instrument building, or other invention; anything that demonstrates the range of your work and interests). We may request additional material. Materials presented online (via webpage, SoundCloud, DropBox, or similar) are strongly preferred (in which case your letter should include the appropriate links), though hard-copy will be accepted (hard copies will be returned if a stamped, self-addressed envelope is included with your application).
