urgent: documentation problem i've not gotten an answer to

I'm not sure I understand the exact issue but as far as I can tell it has to do with the pdf format, and that's far from my speciality. Considering the urgency I can offer you this; http://www.flossmanuals.net/chuck/ That's the work-in-progress for a new version of the manual and it's in HTML. Not sure how much that helps, but then I'm not sure about the link between the pdf file and the error you are getting. Kas.

Ok, I copied all of the pdf to my clipboard, then pasted to a plain text file. The result does contain some unrecognised unicode characters but as far as I can tell the code examples are fine. I'm pasting the result in a separate mail to you in the hope that my pdf reader does a better job at this than yours. I'm not pasting it here to not bog down the list. Yours, Kas.
