Hi I'd like to have four outputs with linux chuck. However I only have one onboard (2 channels) and an usb soundcard (2 channels). So the question is: can I use these two soundcards as a four channels device in chuck? Actually I only need dac and something like dac2 (the second soundcard). The idea is to have chuck generate click and sendit on one card, and the other is the actual music, which goes to the PA... -- peace, love & harmony Atte http://atte.dk | http://myspace.com/attejensen http://anagrammer.dk | http://modlys.dk
well I'm only guessing as i've never done this myself, but I'd say the best
route is to make a virtual asound config file that treats the two soundcards
as one large one (check google for how alsa can use two cards as one). then
chuck should have no problem using that macro device as a four channel
output.
