Hello all, I am thinking of getting the MOTU UltraLite interface to use with my MacBook Pro. Has anyone had any positive/negative experiences using this device with ChucK? I am particularly interested in exploring the multi- channel in/out capabilities. Thanks, Greg
Perhaps I should be a little less specific... What interfaces (USB/Firewire) have people had good experiences with when doing 4+ channel audio? [Mac OS X] Thanks again, -Greg On Dec 16, 2007, at 9:06 PM, Gregory Brown wrote:

Just a idea, but it might be worthwhile to consider the Edirol that PLORK uses; http://wiki.cs.princeton.edu/index.php/PLOrk_station Using the same hardware as PLORK would pretty much guarantee compatibility. Yours, Kas.
i've used the MOTU Ultralite with Chuck spewing 8 channels out with no problems. i haven't used it with multichannel in. as Kassen indicates, we use the Edirols with PLOrk, so ChucK works fine there with multichannel out and up to 2 channels in (just haven't tried it with more inputs). however, the Ultralite wasn't available when we had to make our purchases, and if i were doing it now, i'd buy the Ultralites. all of this is with MacBooks and older Powerbooks. dt On Dec 16, 2007, at 9:06 PM, Gregory Brown wrote:
