Hello all- So I think I have figured out all the ins and outs of making static arrays and static UGens but I cannot figure out how to make a static array of static UGens. Maybe this is not possible. Thanks in advance. Later. Kurt. ........................................................ http://www.kurtKotheimer.com .......................................................
Nevermind, I found the answer on the wiki.
Here it is if anyone else is interested:

Kurt;
Nevermind, I found the answer on the wiki. Here it is if anyone else is interested: http://wiki.cs.princeton.edu/index.php/Buses\
I'm interested. Not so much in the contents of the page as such (I wrote it), but because I just saw the number of hits it got at the bottom of the page. That may mean the manual needs some serious work in that direction and/or this may imply a urge in quite few towards a certain method of using ChucK. Maybe that number includes bots? 1.6K ChucKists interested in constructs like that sounds a bit large to me. Sorry about missing your original email. Yours, Kas.
Well if the bots are using ChucK that would be awesome. The manual kind of
glosses over static and doesn't really get into the tricky stuff like static
non-primitives etc. This may be because some of ChucK's behavior in this
department is slated to change at some point.

Kurt; Well if the bots are using ChucK that would be awesome. Yes, much better than -say- imitation watches and images of people without any clothes on or suggestions to buy pills without first consulting a physician. Maybe they will start Bork (Bot orchestra).

I think you are spot on. I wish it had been in the manual from the beginning because it's been like this for ages and leads to a lot of questions. By now it would have been better to just document how it is now and change the docs when this is finally cleaned up. Yours, Kas.
