Last week on the ChucK show we had a great time with PLOrk and beans, and we have enough material left over for a second PLOrk and beans show which will happen next week (Plork and Beans leftovers, mmmm). This week, today in about seven hours in fact, we will have a Nord Modular show. It's mostly very mellow, relaxing stuff with some tenser moments plus some really upbeat happy music too. If you miss it there will be a recording available along with all the previous shows. Les

You know I really feel like I don't know when or where this event happens each week. Where is the time and URL published so I can get used to checking for it? Thanks, Mark
Unfortunately too late for this friday, but check out the left column here:
http://electro-music.com/ A bit down you'll see Friday: The ChucK Show with
Inventor. You can listen to the show by clicking the radio link at the top.

Thanks. I Googled around and found the link. I was able to listen to
about 45 minutes of the preceding show along with the first 3 minutes
of the Nord show today. I enjoyed it.
I found that as a first time listener I wanted to know more about how
the music was made. How much is pure ChucK code simply being played
back vs how often is ChucK more of a background element and someone is
playing a hardware synth over the top? (I know today wasn't so ChucK
oriented, but if it had been a ChucK show then that was the question
for me.
Again, thanks for the link. It's bookmarked now so I'll try to become
a more regular listener.
Cheers,
Mark
