Abstract:
The dramatic increase in the capabilities of our AI systems gives rise to major opportunities but also to risks. How can we prepare to fully take advantage of the former and mitigate the latter? In this talk, I will present my perspective on this challenge and discuss some of the relevant work of OpenAI’s Preparedness team.
