The program opens with remarks by NAM co-directors Sarah-Jane Leslie and Tania Lombrozo. Two distinguished keynote lectures will follow: “Natural and Artificial Minds: Are they as Smart as We think?” by James L. (Jay) McClelland, and “Empowerment as Causal Learning: Causal Learning as Empowerment” by Alison Gopnik. The event will conclude with a reception.
