[chuck-dev] autoconf & friends?

Hi,

just a thought (from seeing the makefile, and that each object has its own 
target inserted manually). Have you considered converting chuck to 
autoconf & friends? Those tools really do make the build/maintenance 
process easier, although the initial learning curve is considerably 
steep...
