I cannot give you the answer you are waiting for, because I'm not a
developer, but I would love to run chuck on my 64bit linux machine. I
hope your patch will be committed, then I'll try to compile it and
will most probably find some bug. Not that I'm eager to discovering
bugs, but it happens all the time to me.
