FFT and friends are most assuredly on the list.  The feature request 
page hasn't been organized in a while, I hope to sort it at some point.

In fact, we are looking at providing audio analysis framework from 
within chuck.  George Tzanetakis, author of MARSYAS, and us chuck folks 
have been brainstorming about this very thing.   We will definitely 
keep you posted.
