That does make perfect sense to me, especially if there is some specific
curve you want to use regularly that might be computationally expensive to
generate; you should be able to calculate it once, store it in a LiSa, the
re-use it many times.

Don't underestimate the combination of Envelope and the various Gen UGens
though. I think that's more powerful for this application in the general
case.
