Thanks Stefan,
Finally got it to work

I deleted the chuck file out of /usr/bin

Unpacked the chuck installer package, copied it to my applications.

Then used this handy site (
http://wiki.cs.princeton.edu/index.php/ChucK/OSX_Install_and_Run) to install
it again to my /usr/bin

Now runs fine.

Thanks guys for all the tips,

Can't wait to get my head stuck in the Chuck code!
