Also not mentioned here and what did show up when the same issue was found
in a workshop I gave was that closing the block comment with a ";" made it
work as expected. I believe that it's limited to the Mini on OSX and only
affects block comments at the start of the file. It may or may not be
limited to files written in the Mini on that platform, it might even be
limited to files/buffers written in that session, for all I know.

Lacking a Mac here I don't dare send any example code as I can't verify it
here and now.
