[chuck-users] trackpad problem

I have an older MacBook Pro (13 inch, Mid 2012). [actually I have 20 of them for a class]
Recently updated to 10.14.16 (Mojave), and am using miniAudicle 1.3.6

** I can no longer receive any mouse/trackpad data **

The Device Browser recognizes both the internal trackpad and an external USB mouse.
hid.openMouse is successful. hid.name() works.
however it will not receive any live data from the mouse.

Keyboard works fine. Accelerometer works fine.

Any thoughts?
