Hi all,

Ever want to know more about the underlying theory,
physics, math, etc. of the DSP algorithms implemented
in STK, ChucK, Max/MSP, SuperCollider, etc? Tried to
read some of the papers describing physical models,
or FFT-based signal processing, but didn't get too
far? Do you desire a fun, intensive, workshop
environment to learn some about DSP, all in a setting
that is universally recognized as one of the most
beautiful places on earth?

Well, the CCRMA DSP workshop is for you. Taught each
year for over a decade by Xavier Serra and Perry, this
two week workshop provides a basic introduction to
DSP. Morning lectures are complimented by afternoon
labs in STK and SMSTools. A free copy of "Real Sound
Synthesis for Interactive Applications" is included
in the registration fee.
