CBLI is accepting submissions for the
Dean Hank Dobin Prize in Community-Based Independent Work
The Community-Based Learning Initiative (CBLI) awards the Dean Hank Dobin Prize in Community-Based Independent Work to the best thesis or junior paper which involves extensive research in a community setting and provides recommendations, new information and analysis, and/or other resources useful to the community. The prize is named after former Dean Hank Dobin, who was instrumental to the creation of CBLI during his tenure at Princeton.
CBLI invites juniors and seniors who have completed independent work on a community-based topic to submit their thesis or junior paper. Please include an abstract and a brief statement describing individuals and/or organizations who have benefitted, or who might be able to benefit, from your work.
First Prize: $250
Second Prize: $100
Third Prize: $50
Submissions (thesis, abstract, and statement) are due by 3pm on Friday, April 27, 2012, in two formats:
1) via email to: Trisha Thorme, tthorme at princeton.edu and
2) (one) hard copy to the CBLI office, U-Store Suite #340
