[ixp1200] Boards without debug port.

Hi,
 
It seems that most people work on ixp1200 boards with a debug ethernet port,
which can be used to boot and then debug, with tools such as WorkBench, the
board. While, ENP2505 from Radisys without such a port. It can be booted by the
host machine via PCI. And when booted, a pair of psedo ethernet interfaces are
setup also via PCI, for the communication between the board and the host. It's
convenient and efficient. Yet, just wonder, is it still possible for it to be
used in an unhosted environment? Is there any idea from those who also uses
ENP2505?
