[ixp1200] Installing problems

We have problems installing the enp-2505 board. We followed IXA
Education Workstation Setup Guide step by step. The problem is in
section 7 (Booting ENP-2505 board), after execute the manual boot in
linux terminal, there is no response... we check pc serial communication
and it is good, but the enp-2505 board doesn't have serial
communication.

It is important to say that our pc has different characteristics of the
one mentioned in the guide:
- We don't have Dell Precision WS, our pc is generic (Pentium4 on intel
motherboard).
- WinXP (no problem with vmware in linux, is it important that pc most
have Win2000?).
- One hard disk (no booting problems).
