=== Wilks Statistics Seminar ===

DATE:   Monday, May 6 (TODAY)

TIME:   12:30pm

LOCATION:   Sherrerd Hall 101

SPEAKER:   Adam Bull, Cambridge University

TITLE:   Adaptive-treed Bandits

ABSTRACT: Multi-armed bandits are one of the fundamental problems in reinforcement learning, and
are currently of interest in online services and artificial intelligence. In this talk, I review
recent work on problems where the number of arms is large or infinite, and present new
algorithms which achieve near-optimal rates of regret without prior information.
