Call for papers: NIPS 2015 workshop, proceedings published in JMLR
This year we are organizing a workshop on feature extraction
<http://www.feature-extraction.org/> at NIPS <https://nips.cc/> 2015
conference in Montreal. The event is chaired by researchers from Google and
NYU: Dmitry Storcheus, Mehryar Mohri, Afshin Rostamizadeh, and Sanjiv Kumar.
The proceedings will be published in a special issue of The Journal Of
Machine Learning Research <http://www.jmlr.org/>. If you would like to
speak up and share your work in this field, please send a paper to
featureextraction2015submit at gmail.com by October 10th, 2015.
The workshop will bring together researchers from various fields of machine
learning to discuss better ways to extract features from raw data. The
topics include: manifold learning, metric learning, dimensionality
reduction, deep neural networks.
