Hello,

During compiling dedup with gcc-4.3.3 under ubuntu 8.10 this error is reported for decoder.c and encoder.c :

   In function ‘open’,
       inlined from ‘Reassemble’ at decoder.c:188:
/usr/include/bits/fcntl2.h:51: error: call to ‘__open_missing_mode’ declared with attribute   error: open with O_CREAT in second argument needs 3 arguments

and here the specification of my gcc:

Using built-in specs.
Target: i686-pc-linux-gnu
Configured with: ./configure --with-ar=/usr/local/bin/ar --with-as=/usr/local/bin/as
Thread model: posix
gcc version 4.3.3 (GCC)

Would you please how can I get rid of
it?

Thanks a lot,
Best regards,
Fahimeh
