Hi Fahimeh,

The reason for the loop is simply to do all the work multiple times. It's not necessary for the computations themselves, it only increases the amount of work that the program does.

I have a question about blackscholes. 
Would you please let me know what is the reason of the loop "for (j=0; j<NUM_RUNS; j++)" 
in bs_thread(void *tid_ptr) function in blackscholes.c ? I mean why the main calculating operations of this program should be run NUM_RUNS=100 times?
