[parsec-users] please guide me about vips

You probably built vips in the src/ directory where the source code of the
package is located when you built it manually. This means that the directory
now also contains the files that are left over from your build. When
parsecmgmt tries to build the package it realizes that something is already
there and stops.

If you can't fix this problem then it's probably easiest to simply unpack
PARSEC again and replace the vips package with the original, unmodified

Subject: [parsec-users] please guide me about vips

I am writing to ask you some guidance about vips. For Vips package, I
compiled it with configure, make, sudo make install and it works.

Now, I need to recompile vips with ./parsecmgmt , but every time this error
is reported
"source directory already configured; run "make distclean" there first".
While I
ran make distclean for vips several times, I have encountered with this
I am afraid I do not know how to solve this problem. Would you please guide
me about this

Your helps would be highly appreciated.

Best regards,
