Hi Mahmood,
You might have “ar”
and other bin utils reside in other then /usr/local/bin directory on your
Check where
they are e.g.
And based on
the output – change BINUTIL_HOME in config/gcc.bldconf file
Hope this

Subject: [parsec-users] error in
building the benchmarks
I cannot build benchmark because of this error:
mahmood at Saturn:bin$./parsecmgmt -a build
/usr/local/bin/ar cru .libs/libflex.a FlexImage.o FlexIO.o
../libtool: line 5949: /usr/local/bin/ar:
No such file or directory

make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/mahmood/PARSEC/parsec-2.1/pkgs/apps/bodytrack/obj/amd64-linux.gcc'
make: *** [all] Error 2

-fpermissive -fno-exceptions -static-libgcc -Wl,--hash-style=both,--as-needed

can I resolve that? thanks,
