md5sum shows they are the same.
mahmood at localhost:apps$ md5sum facesim/input_simlarge.tar
bb79105b6e4e7524d0233db00189df45  facesim/input_simlarge.tar
mahmood at localhost:apps$ md5sum facesim/input_simsmall.tar
bb79105b6e4e7524d0233db00189df45  facesim/input_simsmall.tar

Also, if we suppose they are different I still wonder how the data set is passed
to the bin file. if

run_args="-timing -threads ${NTHREADS}"
then I should run "./facesim -timing -threads 2". So how should I pass the data

For facesim, there is no difference between simlarge, simmedium and simsmall.
run_args="-timing -threads ${NTHREADS}"
Any suggestion? thanks,
