Hi Eric,

Actually, all pthread related codes are enabled by the macro "PARALLEL". So you can remove the pthread related codes by undef the macro "PARALLEL".

Best Regards,
Yungang

I suppose I should have been more clear. We're looking for a serial version of the source code without everything from pthreads.

Thanks
Eric

Hi Eric,

The current dedup source codes include a serial implementation. All the parallel codes are embraced in the macro "#ifdef PARALLEL ... #endif". You can modify the makefile to remove the macro "-DPARALLEL".

Yungang

Hello all,

Is there a purely serial version of the dedup benchmark somewhere? My research group is working on TBB and OpenMP versions of dedup and we think it may be easier to start with a purely serial version that the provided pthreads version.

Thanks
