Thank you very much for the procedure.

You can find the answer by searching "__parsec_io_begin()" in source codes.

Taking raytrace as an example, you can see the following codes in "src/MiniView/rtview.cxx"
-------------------------------
   cout << "Rendering " << framesToRender << " frames... " << endl << flush;
#ifdef ENABLE_PARSEC_HOOKS
    __parsec_roi_begin();
#endif
    int frame = 0;
    do {
      render();
      frame++;
    } while(!(__builtin_expect(framesToRender > 0,0) && frame >= framesToRender));
#ifdef ENABLE_PARSEC_HOOKS
    __parsec_roi_end();
#endif
    cout << "Done" << endl << flush;
-------------------------------
So the roi begins after the statement "Rendering 3 frames..."

Best Regards,
Yungang

Hi again,
Can you answer the same question for raytrace output:

PARSEC Benchmark Suite Version 2.1
initializing LRT ray tracer ...
default BVH builder : binnedalldimssavespace
Options: automove = 1;
files = happy_buddha.obj;
frames = 3;
nodisplay = 1;
nthreads = 1;
res = [960, 540];

Using memory framebuffer...
Adding obj file: happy_buddha.obj
Using auto camera...
adding 543522 vertices
adding 1087425 triangles
finalizing geometry
vertices 543522 (6369.4 KB)
triangles 1087425 (12743.3 KB)
texture coordinates 0 (0 KB)
No materials -> create dummy material
building index
using BVH builder default
build time 6.52359
done
sceneAABB =[[[-0.04615,0.049738,-0.047301,0] ],[[0.035226,0.24777,0.034077,0] ]]
Rendering 3 frames...
Done

Thanks a lot

Hi Mahmood,

The ROI begins just from "transaction number is 500000".

Yungang

Hi,
I want to know when the main code of freqmine is executed considering this output:

transaction number is 500000
1522
13083
44649
118072
337195
904434
1946385
3281416
4382543
4694188
4068013
2864888
1636526
750500
270740
74394
14841
1992
156
5
the data preparation cost 337.142548 seconds, the FPgrowth cost 2453.190156 seconds

In another word, does the ROI begin after " transaction number is 500000" or it begins after the numbers?
Regards,
