Do you mean the following modification?
> return( im_LabQ2disp( in, out, im_col_displays( 7 ) ) );
< return (im_copy( in, out, ));
But since the output image is in a coded format, which function can we call to convert it to an image again?

It's this line:
Change the call to im_LabQ2disp() to "im_copy (in, out)".
But if you do this the output image from the benchmark will be in a
coded format and this might break the benchmark script. You might need
to make changes there too.
