Hello, PARSEC Users,

On behalf of the PARSEC team, I'm pleased to inform that the beta release of PARSEC 3.0 is available. 

Welcome to use the new PARSEC release and send us feedback.

1. What's New
-------------------------------------------
PARSEC 3.0 has made three major changes:

*) Add network benchmarks as well as a user-level parallel TCP/IP stack.
*) Provide SPLASH-2 and the inputs-enlarged SPLASH-2x.
*) Redesign the framework for supporting external suites.

2. How to start

3. What to report
-------------------------------------------
If you encounter any errors when you are building/running PARSEC, please report the corresponding log file located in the "parsec-3.0/log" directory. Besides, it would be better to provide more information as follows:

  *) CPU architecture:  by running "cat /proc/cpuinfo" 
  *) OS type:  by running "uname -a"
  *) gcc version: by running "gcc --version"
  *) glibc version: by running "/lib/libc.so.6"
  *) Binutils version: by running "ld --version"
